Qualifications for Independent Contract Agreement:
La Habra Collaborative Executive Director


The La Habra Collaborative, a not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to connect organizations that empower La Habra individuals and families to be self-sufficient and healthy is seeking to contract with a community leader to serve as the Collaborative’s Executive Director. The deliverables of this contract agreement are:

a) Conduct the daily business of the organization, including providing support to the Chair of the Board of Directors and all committee chairs as needed.
b) Ensure the Collaborative is represented at community events and organizational meetings.
c) Correspond and report through written materials to the members, general public and leadership of the community.
d) Evaluate and strengthen Collaborative partnerships and individual paid member relationships, including conducting and annual member satisfaction/engagement survey.
e) Recruit new paid members to the organization to build and broaden the diversity and impact of the organization with a target of a 20% increase.
f) Assure sustainability through grants and fundraising activities, including the development of a reserve in an amount determined by the Board on an annual basis.
g) Ensure that all grant deliverables are met and reports are submitted on time.
h) Obtain the external recognition for the Collaborative that raises the visibility and support of the work done in and on behalf of the community.
i) Serve as the primary liaison between the Collaborative and community agencies. Ensures that strategic priorities identified by the Board of Directors are on track for success.
j) Ensures that strategic priorities of the Board are on track for success.

The contract will have a maximum of $30,000 per year payment. City Net 2017

It was amazing to come together at today’s La Habra State of the Collaborative 2018, where we reflected on last years innitatives and heard from community partners that are living out our collaborative’s goals.

One of our partners is City Net (tag our FB), a non-profit that is bringing together different community groups to address the homeless crisis in Orange County. To recieved updates, give their Facebook page a like!

La Habra PTA Thrift Shop

Shoutout to the La Habra PTA Thrift Shop (tag their FB page) for their community impact last year! They served 264 individuals. Those served included 118 adults, 83 kids, and 63 homeless neighbors.

Please consider them as one of the options to donating gently worn clothing in 2018!
